Our Henna Design Styles

Traditional Arabic Henna

Bold, flowing floral patterns with open spacing that allow the design to breathe. Arabic henna is known for its elegance and typically features large blooms, leaves, and vines cascading across the hands and feet. A beautiful choice for Eid, weddings, and cultural celebrations.

Indian (Rajasthani & Mughal) Mehndi

Intricate, densely packed designs covering the full hand and extending up the forearm. Indian bridal mehndi often tells a story, with detailed motifs of peacocks, paisleys, mandalas, and fine lattice work. Our artists have the patience and precision to create breathtaking full-coverage bridal mehndi.

Modern & Minimalist Henna

Clean geometric patterns, delicate finger trails, and contemporary motifs for those who prefer a subtle, fashion-forward look. Modern henna is perfect for everyday occasions, parties, or as a stylish alternative to jewellery.

Fusion & Custom Designs

Why choose one style when you can blend the best elements of several? Our artists love creating custom fusion designs that combine Arabic flow with Indian intricacy, or add modern geometric accents to traditional patterns. Bring your inspiration photos and we will bring them to life.

White Henna & Glitter Henna

For a glamorous twist, try our white henna or glitter henna options — perfect for parties, photo shoots, and events where you want a striking visual effect. Please note that white and glitter henna are cosmetic applications and do not stain the skin like natural henna.

Why Choose Blush N Curls for Henna

  • 100% Natural & Organic Paste – Our henna is freshly prepared from premium lawsonia leaves, mixed with essential oils for a deep, long-lasting stain. No PPD, no chemicals.
  • Experienced Artists – Our mehndi specialists have years of experience in both traditional and modern styles, ensuring precision and artistry in every stroke.
  • Rich, Dark Stain – Our organic formula and aftercare guidance help you achieve a deep burgundy-brown stain that lasts 1–3 weeks.
  • Event & Group Bookings – Hosting a henna party, bridal mehndi night, or Eid gathering? We accommodate group sessions at any of our three locations.

The Henna Process

  1. Design Selection – Browse our portfolio or bring your own references. Your artist will discuss placement, coverage, and style.
  2. Application – Using a fine-tipped cone, your artist applies the organic henna paste with steady, precise strokes. Simple designs take 15–30 minutes; full bridal mehndi may take 2–4 hours.
  3. Drying & Setting – Allow the paste to dry naturally. The longer you leave it on (ideally 4–8 hours or overnight for bridal henna), the deeper the colour.
  4. Paste Removal – Gently scrape off the dried paste — do not wash with water. Apply a thin layer of coconut or olive oil to seal the stain.

Henna Aftercare for the Darkest Stain

  • Leave the paste on for as long as possible — 6–8 hours minimum for best results.
  • Avoid water on the henna area for the first 12–24 hours after paste removal.
  • Apply natural oil (coconut, olive, or sesame) to moisturise and protect the stain.
  • Avoid chlorine, harsh soaps, and exfoliants on the hennaed area.
  • The colour will darken over 24–48 hours, reaching its richest shade on day two.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is your henna safe and chemical-free?

Yes. We use 100% natural, organic henna made from lawsonia inermis leaves, blended with eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. Our paste contains no PPD, no artificial dyes, and no harmful chemicals. It is safe for sensitive skin, pregnant women, and children.

How long does henna last on the skin?

Natural henna typically lasts 1–3 weeks, depending on the body area, your skin type, and aftercare. Palms and feet tend to produce the darkest, longest-lasting stains.

When should I apply bridal henna before my wedding?

We recommend applying bridal mehndi 2–3 days before the wedding. This allows the stain to fully develop and reach its deepest colour in time for the ceremony and photos.

Do you offer henna for groups and events?

Yes. We welcome group bookings for henna nights, Eid celebrations, baby showers, and corporate events. Contact us on WhatsApp to discuss group sizes and arrange your session at our Al Qusais, Al Barsha, or Mankhool branch.
